Jury Day Highlights Creativity at MET School of Architecture and Interior Design, Nashik

Nashik, Maharashtra- May 17: Jury Day was held from 15th to 16th May at MET School of Architecture and Interior Design, Govardhan, Nashik. During the event, students presented outstanding design concepts and showcased innovative techniques across various projects. The fourth-year students of the Bachelor of Design program particularly impressed the jury and guests with their creativity, technical skill, and thoughtful approach to design.


Creative Visions from the Next Generation of Designers


The Jury for the 4th-year B.Design Graduation Projects at MET School of Architecture and Interior Design, Govardhan, Nashik, was conducted on 15th and 16th May 2025, showcasing the creativity and innovation of the graduating batch. On 15th May, Product and Set Design students presented their final projects to a distinguished jury comprising Ar. Prashant Gatkal and Ar. Sampada Gejji, respectively. On 16th May, Interior Design students presented their projects before Ar. Ulka Pawar and Ar. Abhijit Kothari. The jury appreciated the depth of research, creativity, and execution demonstrated by all students, affirming MET's commitment to fostering future-ready designers with strong design thinking and sustainable values.


From Vision to Reality: Students Redefine Spaces on Jury Day

The Interior Design students presented a diverse range of socially and culturally relevant concepts, including Orphanage by Bafna Vidhi Manoj, Cultural Centre to Promote Tourism in Nashik by Bankar Tejas Anil, Children’s Museum by Bhandari Jagruti, and Multifunctional Space for Content Creators by Bhateja Varsha Chandrakant. Other noteworthy projects included Day Care Center for People with Disabilities by Bhoye Kashish Mahendra, Weaves of India by Bora Sakshi Amit, Kindergarten by Boraste Pranjal, Goodfellows Intergenerational Centre by Bothra Khushboo Prakash, Reimagining the Decathlon Experience Using Fractals by Gelda Hemangi Mohanlal, Vintage Car Museum by Maniar Ayesha, Club for Active Senior Citizens by Ostwal Shruti Anil, Minimalism in Interior Design by Pawar Ayushri, Museum of Islamic Art by Shaikh Khushbu, Stationery Hub by Sharma Rohit Shivpujan, Institutional Bank by Singh Kirti Rajesh Kumar, Performing Arts Center by Thakkar Khushi Harish, Agro Tourism Centre by Vairal Pratiksha Rajendra, and Ferry Terminal Design: Enhancing Passenger Experience by Vispute Pranav Ajay. Set Design students brought unique narratives to life through visual storytelling, with projects such as Fantasy World Building by Shruti Aher, Fluid Frames: Creating Adaptive Spaces for Cinema’s Evolving Needs by Sakshi Gaikwad, Musical Event of Harmony: Crafting Majuli’s Musical Landscape by Srushti Gurav, A Visual Odyssey of Indian Periodic Cinema by Komal Jain, World Perceived Through Blindness by Yash Jangid, Designing a Surreal Theatre Set by Mehek Tambat, and Open Air Theatre - Journey of Indian Traditional Art Form by Aishwarya Vaishnav. The presentations reflected the students’ creativity, research, and sensitivity towards contemporary design challenges.


MET Upholds Its Legacy of Excellence in Design Innovation


Renowned architects and jury members—Ar. Ulka Pawar, Ar. Abhijit Kothari, Ar. Prashant Gatkal, and Ar. Sampada Gejji—were highly impressed by the innovative and thoughtfully executed projects presented by the students during the Jury Day at MET School of Architecture and Interior Design, Govardhan, Nashik. The jurors appreciated the depth of creativity and practical understanding demonstrated in the graduation projects and spoke highly of the institution’s long-standing legacy in nurturing design excellence. The session was attended by key faculty members, including Prof. Manish Patil, Head of the B.Des. program, along with Assistant Professors Prof. Aditya Tayde and Prof. Suhas Datrange, who guided and mentored the students throughout the academic journey.
