NATA Exam 2025: The Gateway to Architecture


"The National Aptitude Test in Architecture, commonly known as NATA Exam 2025, is a national-level entrance exam for admission to the field of Architecture. It serves as one of the key qualifying exams for aspiring architecture students." Prof. Pritam Ahirrao, Associate Professor, B. This year, there are some changes in the exam schedule and pattern. The exam will be held every Friday and Saturday from March to June. Students are allowed up to three attempts, and the best score among those attempts will be considered for admission. The NATA exam does not include a negative marking system.”

NATA Exam Updates: Eligibility, Fees, and More


Aspiring architects must stay informed about the latest NATA Exam Updates. To gain admission in an Architecture program, candidates must have completed 12th grade with a Science stream, including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. Candidates holding a diploma in Civil or Architecture are also eligible to apply. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the 12th final examination is required. Students appearing for their 12th exams are also eligible to take the NATA entrance exam. The results are announced within 7 days and are valid for the current academic year only.


The fee structure for the NATA Exam 2025 is as follows. For filling out the NATA form, students from the General and OBC categories are required to pay a fee of ₹1750. For SC, ST, EWS, and PWD categories, the fee is ₹1250, while transgender students are charged ₹1000. The entire process is conducted online through the official NATA website, making it completely safe.


The NATA Exam will be conducted in two parts, combining both offline and online formats, with a total duration of three hours and a maximum of 200 marks. Part A is an offline, pen-and-paper-based section designed to assess candidates’ drawing and sketching skills. Part B is an online, computer-based aptitude test that includes questions on verbal, logical, and analytical reasoning, basic physics and chemistry, 10th-grade-level mathematics, and general knowledge.
